I was trying to make a Canon flash fire as well by setting the xpro C on channel 1 group B and putting a Godox X2Tc on the bottom of my Canon Flash. The "T" in X2T stands for "transmitter". The Godox X triggers are not transceivers they are dedicated transmitter/receiver units. You need an X1R-C receiver for the foot of the 600EX-RT.

“I just want a way to supress the annoying message about the C.Fn options.” That is not Canon’s problem. Yongnuo claims to be compatible with the Canon E-TTL protocol when in fact they are not fully compatible. I suggest you contact them about your issue.

I have two 430 EXII each on RF603c II and one RF603c II on the hot shoe of either the 40D or R6 and they work fine. I can turn the RF603c II on after the camera is on and it's still no issue. Would be nice if there was a trigger wirelessly for the R6 that would allow remote adjustments of the 430 EX
